FANTASTIC NEWS!!! ps it's been ages...then, about three months later, we performed it again at a charity performance called hats off. we were the only students there, everyone else was a pro! we met the cast of chicago who also performed same with matthew robinson. we were told to behave casually but i went to the toilet and locked myself in and screamed really quietly OMGOMGOMG to who i had just met!!
also, later, my friend got a text from his mum and he yelled OMG and showed the phone to us. It said "you are performing to Geoffrey Rush" We later found out he was actually in the front row!. We were the closing number and we all went flat out on stage with really high esteme (meeting your idols really DOES help you perform well!) and afterwards, we came downstairs and the rest of the performers errupted with applause! THEY LOVED US!! they told us we were amazing and i told them to say that to Leanne, our teacher and choreographer. but hearing some of my idols say that to US REALLY made my day, no YEAR!!i swear, that was the best night of my entire life (probably better than meeting the cast of wicked although that was amazing too!!)
also in other fantastic news, i found out earlier this week that i made it into my school's and my brother school's musical: sweeney todd!! i was actually amazed when i got in but some of the better performers than me didn't!! i can't wait till rehearsals start!!
and on thursday, i went to the physio and she gave me the thumbs up to start pointe work!!!!!!!!!!!! after nine months of preparation i'm SOO HAPPY!!
so i am extremely happy at the moment!!!
